Kirk Seaman
Senior Associate Attorney
Kirk Seaman was born in 1959. He grew up in Baltimore City. He worked in his family's business until entering law school. He attended Baltimore City Public Schools, including the Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. He attended the Community College of Baltimore for two years, earning an Associate Arts Degree with honors in Political Science. He transferred to the University Of Baltimore College of Liberal Arts and earned a degree in Jurisprudence, graduating with honors. In 1982, he entered the University of Baltimore School of Law, graduating in 1985.
As a younger man, he studied classical guitar at the Peabody Preparatory of Music, and he is a self-taught drummer. He developed an interest in photography that soon led to a freelance commercial photography business where he did construction photography, weddings, and Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. He also worked for various advertising agencies, working on such accounts as McDonalds, Marriott Corporation, Baltimore's Best Program, March of Dimes, and Anheuser-Busch. He was the personal photographer to Roy Rogers and photographed such musical performers as Lou Rawls, Heart, Rick Springfield, and Hall & Oates.
In 1985, he met and later married his Wife, Rose. They have been together for almost 40 years. They have two grown children, three grandchildren, and two grand-dogs. They live in Sparrows Point, Maryland.
In 1989, he opened his own law practice in several locations throughout the State of Maryland. During his career, he has handled accident cases, workers' compensation cases, criminal and DUI cases, and family law cases. In 1995, he was appointed by the Circuit Court of Maryland for Carroll County to be a Special Settlement Officer responsible for settling accident, workers' compensation, and family law cases. In 1999, he expanded his law practice to include mediation and arbitration. His practice in Maryland has caused him to appear before the District Courts, Circuit Courts, Court of Special Appeals (now Appellate Court of Maryland), Workers' Compensation Commission, and Office of Administrative Hearings. In May 2022, he sold his law practice and ultimately wound up taking over the workers' compensation department at Kirk Seaman, LLC, a well-established Baltimore law firm with roots dating back to 1953. While working for Kirk Seaman, LLC, he expanded the practice to include representation in DUI and DWI cases.
